BrightSign Series 6

Put the player behind the experience.

A dedicated signage player connects to your display by HDMI. It gives you a separate playback platform, useful when retaining suitable screens or standardising a signage system.

BrightSign HD6 commercial signage player

Everyday signage, dedicated hardware

BrightSign HD6

HD226 / HD1026

A practical starting point for video-led menus, promotions and information screens. Choose the standard or expanded I/O version to suit connected controls and peripherals.

  • Single 4K60p, 10-bit video decoding
  • HTML graphics at HD resolution
  • 4K IP streaming · HDR support
  • HD1026 adds expanded I/O
BrightSign XD6 commercial signage player

For more demanding content

BrightSign XD6

XD236 / XD1036

For richer HTML experiences and more intensive video presentations. Its higher graphics capability makes it worth considering when content goes beyond a straightforward playlist.

  • Dual 4K60p, 10-bit video decoding
  • 4K graphics · WebGL support
  • PoE+ capability
  • Optional M.2 SSD storage

Dual video decoding describes playback capability, not two independent HDMI display outputs. Player, storage, peripherals and content-management services are specified separately.

Content & control

The right screen needs the right software.

Samsung MagicINFO

We offer Samsung signage systems with MagicINFO. The QMC family includes the embedded MagicINFO S10 player; the server or cloud service, licence and features need to match your installation.

For an existing MagicINFO estate, we establish the software version, account ownership and compatibility before adding or replacing displays.

Samsung VXT

Samsung’s current UK QMC and QHFX pages also feature VXT for cloud content and device management. It is a separate purchase, rather than an included subscription.

We confirm the appropriate platform for your chosen screen. The 115″ QHFX is presented here with VXT; MagicINFO compatibility should not be assumed.

BrightSign content management

A BrightSign player is one part of the system. We help establish the authoring and publishing workflow, network access and the service or compatible CMS required for your content.

Your proposal should distinguish hardware, storage, software subscriptions and setup so you know what is included.

From screen to working system

Plan the whole installation.

01 / The brief

Content & audience

What is on screen, who needs to read it and how often it changes. We use that to guide screen size and placement.

02 / The site

Mounting & access

Wall construction, power, cabling, ventilation and delivery routes. Ultra-large screens need particular handling and access planning.

03 / The system

Playback & publishing

Display, player and CMS choices considered together, with network responsibilities and recurring costs agreed.

04 / The handover

Test everyday use

Check the agreed content, start-up behaviour and update process, then walk your team through operation.

Good questions to ask

Before you choose your signage.

Can I use a screen we already own?

Possibly. We check its inputs, operating-hour rating, condition and suitability for the environment. A BrightSign player can provide playback through HDMI, but it does not change the screen’s brightness or commercial operating limits.

Do software subscriptions come with the screen or player?

Do not assume they do. The proposed CMS, licence duration, device-management services and any recurring charges should be listed separately in the quotation.

Is a 115″ display a video wall?

The QHFX is one large display with a single uninterrupted picture area. We assess whether that or a multi-panel or LED solution better fits the space and access.

Can you help choose between HD6 and XD6?

Yes. Share representative videos, web content and any interactive requirements. We choose around the actual workload and required connections, rather than screen size alone.
