Choose coverage as carefully as the sound.

Loudspeaker style, placement and output should fit the architecture and listening areas. LIBRA and ARCHON offer different starting points for a commercial installation.

FBT LIBRA Install (LIBRA 5CT shown)

Pendant loudspeakers for designed spaces

FBT LIBRA Install

A suspended speaker format to consider for open ceilings and interiors where conventional wall positions do not suit the layout. We plan the drop height, spacing and suspension around the room.

  • LIBRA 5CT: 5″ woofer + 1″ tweeter
  • 70/100 V taps or 16-ohm operation
  • Black and white options
  • LIBRA 8S pendant subwoofer in the range
FBT ARCHON (ARCHON 105 shown)

Cabinet speakers for installed sound

FBT ARCHON

A range of passive installation speakers and subwoofers for projects needing focused coverage and a choice of cabinet sizes. The room, listening level and mounting positions guide the model selection.

  • Compact models through larger cabinets
  • ARCHON 105: 5″ woofer + 1″ tweeter
  • ARCHON 208S / 215S subwoofer options
  • Amplifier and mounting hardware specified to suit

Range imagery shows LIBRA 5CT and ARCHON 105 examples, not every model. Passive speakers need suitable amplification. Transformer options, impedance, mounting and environmental suitability are checked for the exact model.

Ceiling speakers

Discreet sound, different circuit options.

In-ceiling stereo

Bose Virtually Invisible® 791 Series II

A discreet in-ceiling option with a 17.8 cm woofer and two 2.5 cm tweeters per speaker. We assess the listening area, ceiling void and amplifier requirements before specifying a pair.

  • Sold as a pair
  • Paintable grilles
  • Conventional amplification; not a direct 100 V speaker
Adastra CC6V ceiling loudspeaker

6.5″ ceiling speaker · 952.153UK

Adastra CC6V

A two-way ceiling speaker for distributed music and speech. Its selector provides 100 V transformer taps or an 8-ohm setting, giving different circuit options for the installation.

  • 100 V taps: 2.5 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 W
  • 193 mm cut-out · 90 mm mounting depth
  • Directional dome tweeter

Design considerations

Choose the format before the finish.

Ceiling integration

Check void depth, cut-outs, access and building requirements before selecting a recessed speaker. Plan spacing for the listening area, not simply an even grid.

Amplifier matching

The Bose pair needs a suitable conventional amplifier. The CC6V offers transformer taps for 100 V distribution or an 8-ohm setting. These circuits are designed differently.

Music and speech

Set expectations for listening level, speech clarity and bass. More amplifier power does not fix poor placement or a highly reverberant room.

FAQs

Before installation.

Can we mix ceiling, pendant and cabinet speakers?

Yes, with suitable circuits, amplification and settings for each area. We assess how the zones will be used and balance their levels at commissioning.

Can all these speakers connect directly to a 100 V line?

No. Check the exact model and transformer configuration. In particular, the Bose 791 Series II pair should not be treated as a 100 V line speaker.
