Ampetronic loop drivers

Match the driver to the loop design.

Perimeter hearing-loop driver

Ampetronic C10-1D

A C Series perimeter-loop driver option with Dante connectivity. Selection depends on the loop design, metal loss and required coverage, rather than floor area alone.

  • Dante variant: C10-1D
  • DSP-based setup
  • Driver and loop layout specified together

Area hearing-loop driver

Ampetronic C5-1

A C Series driver with 5 A RMS loop output. We assess background magnetic noise and construction before determining whether a perimeter loop is suitable.

  • C5-1 configuration
  • 5 A RMS loop output
  • Do not assume Dante/network options are included
Counters and small areas

Counters and small areas

Ampetronic CLD1

A compact loop-driver range for reception desks, service counters and small-area applications. The ordered kit needs the correct loop, microphone and power accessories.

  • Counter and small-area applications
  • Fixed loop placement
  • Kit contents confirmed in the quotation

Coverage & intelligibility

Begin with the listening area.

Survey the environment

Assess background magnetic noise, building metalwork, adjacent rooms and the position of listeners before selecting a loop layout.

Design the coverage

A counter loop and a room coverage loop solve different problems. Where spill or metal loss matters, a simple perimeter loop may not be the right approach.

Measure and hand over

Commission with appropriate field-strength and listening checks against the relevant IEC 60118-4 requirements. Provide user signage, operating guidance and a maintenance plan.

FAQs

A working system needs more than a driver.

Will every hearing aid receive a loop signal?

Hearing loops require a compatible telecoil and the appropriate hearing-aid setting. Other assistive-listening technologies may suit different users and applications.

Can you guarantee coverage from room size alone?

No. Metal loss, geometry, background noise, loop layout and driver capability all affect the result. We establish these through design and survey.

Does the C5-1 automatically include Dante?

No. Connectivity differs by variant. The C10-1D listed here is the Dante option; the chosen C5-1 configuration is confirmed separately.

Does the CLD1 code identify a complete kit?

Kit contents vary. The exact order needs to specify the loop, microphone and power accessories as well as the driver.
